Skewered Grilled Sea Scallops
With Bacon And Maple Glaze

INGREDIENTS:

Sea Scallops
Thick Slab Bacon Squares (already cooked)
Oil
Salt and Pepper (to taste)
Skewers

MAPLE GLAZE:
(prepare while scallops are soaking)

Maple Syrup
Lemon Juice
Salt and Pepper (to taste)

DIRECTIONS FOR GLAZE:

Boil maple syrup until it is reduced by half.
Stir in some lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Let it cool.
Makes a nice shiny glaze.

D E L I C I O U S !

DIRECTIONS FOR SCALLOPS:

Soak sea scallops in water for 1/2 hour.
Heat Grill to HOT.
Skewer scallops and thick slab bacon squares.
Oil lightly and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Grill flat side down first on a hot grill.
Dab with maple glaze on on each scallop.
Grill 1 minute each side.
Glaze each time you turn them, and again when serving.
